Headaches, stomach pains, fatigue, excessive weight gain, and hormonal imbalances are just a few of the byproducts. How do we go about fixing this? Every body is different- we can't all follow the same general health guidelines. In my one-on-one nutrition coaching program, we work together to create a custom plan for your goals based on your individual lifestyle, schedule, and food preferences, in order for you to achieve your goals and become your healthiest, happiest self.

How it works:
Session 1
Dietary and Lifestyle Evaluation
This is a 60-75 minute session where we lay the foundation for our coaching framework. We'll take a deep dive into your current health and lifestyle habits, your medical history, your family's health history, your existing knowledge of nutritional information, and evaluate your most recent lab work. We will discuss your vision for your health and strategize the best way to work towards that vision through realistic, achievable weekly goals.

Session 2
Nutrition Plan
This is a 60-75 minute session where you'll received a detailed plan for how to eat to best support your specific health goals. You will NOT receive a rigid, restrictive diet plan. Instead, you will learn how to approach building a healthy meal by focusing on adding specific nutrients to your plate and learning what proportions of nutrients will support your goals. You'll receive a completely customized meal and lifestyle plan with recipes and snacks tailored to your preferences and lifestyle. This will be the roadmap that will help you achieve your health vision by outlining the steps you'll take to get there.

Follow up & Accountability Sessions
These are 30-45 minute sessions where we evaluate how the plan is going, confront challenges, and celebrate successes. Depending on the week, sessions may include a deeper dive into a specific nutrition topic, strategies on how to build healthy habits, behavior change, healthy cooking techniques, emotional eating exercises, and more.

How do I know if nutritional coaching is right for me?
Almost everyone can benefit from professional nutritional guidance!
But my program is NOT for you if:

You are just looking for a quick fix to lose weight

You're not interested in investing time and effort into building a healthier lifestyle

You are looking for a list of what to eat and what not to eat, and don't want to learn about how food actually affects your body

You have no flexibility in what you eat every day (for example, if you are live a dorm without a kitchen, or are in the army and don't have the ability to make your own dietary choices)

You currently suffer from an eating disorder. If you are currently suffering from an eating disorder, please seek professional guidance from someone who specializes in treatment of eating disorders

What types of people do you work with?
I specialize in women's fertility, PCOS, menopause, and other hormonal health issues. Most of my clients are looking for help with one or more of the following: healing hormonal imbalances, managing symptoms such as fertility issues related to PCOS, recurrent miscarriage, secondary infertility, irregular periods, or irregular ovulation. I also help clients heal from painful periods, insulin resistance, unbalanced blood sugar. I do not work with people under the age of 18 or people who are currently suffering from an eating disorder. If you are currently suffering from an eating disorder, please seek out a professional care provider who specializes in and has experience with treating eating disorders.

What is your philosophy towards nutrition and dieting?
When it comes to nutrition I base all my recommendations off of the latest nutrition research as well as my years of clinical experience and seeing what has worked for a variety of my clients. Both the research and my clinical experience have taught me that it's clear that different diets work for different people. For example, one person can thrive on a vegetarian diet while someone else might suffer from nutrient deficiencies on the same diet because their body can't absorb plant-based forms of minerals as easily. My approach is to focus on teaching my clients which foods can act as medicine in their bodies to help them heal, but I don't shy away from educating them on what foods can be fueling disease and dysfunction either. I always encourage my clients to aim for consistency over perfection. In fact, out of all my clients who have had amazing transformations and seen incredible results, not a single one of them ate perfectly. I work with every client to create a customized plan to help them achieve their goals based on their specific symptoms, lifestyle, and taste preferences. I then help them create realistic goals and action steps to build a consistent lifestyle that allows them to heal their hormones without feeling deprived or confused.

Do you offer single sessions?
I do not offer single sessions. Consistency over time is required in order to make lasting changes, so I work with clients for a minimum of 10 sessions. Single sessions are only offered to clients who have already completed the one of the above programs and want additional follow-up sessions.

What is not included in the program?
I don't refer you for lab tests or diagnose health conditions in my program. I can however advise you on how to speak to your primary care provider if lab testing or further evaluations are relevant.

Do you take insurance?
At this time I do not accept insurance.
